This site is built to be used by everyone, including people who rely on assistive technology.

Teal Apex Homes is committed to being usable by everyone. The commitments below are the ones the site is built to, and each of them can be checked on any page.
The site targets WCAG 2.2 at level AA.
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, version 2.2, level AA, are the standard every page is measured against. Body text holds a contrast ratio of at least 4.5 to 1 against its background, in light mode, in dark mode, and in each of the alternate accent themes. Pages use semantic HTML with one h1, headings in order, landmarks, and a skip link that is the first focusable element on the page.
Every control is large enough to touch and visible when it has focus.
Buttons, links in the navigation, form fields, segmented toggles, slider thumbs, menu summaries, and table sort headers each meet a minimum target of 48 pixels. Every focusable element shows a three pixel focus ring, offset by two pixels, that is legible on the paper plane and on the ink plane alike. Focus is never hidden.
The site honors a request for reduced motion.
Nothing on the site moves without your input. When your device asks for reduced motion, the remaining transitions are removed, the instruments print their results as sentences rather than animating them, and every reading stays available.
Menus, questions, and tables work without JavaScript.
The navigation menu on a narrow screen and every question in the Help and FAQ area are native details elements, so they open and close with the keyboard and with a screen reader whether or not scripts run. Every table on the site is a real HTML table with a caption, column headers, and scoped cells, rendered on the server, so it can be read without JavaScript and printed in grayscale.
Fair housing is a commitment of this practice.
The practice supports equal housing opportunity and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, disability, familial status, national origin, or any protected class. The Equal Housing Opportunity statement appears in the footer of every page.
A barrier you meet on this site is a defect the practice will fix.
If any part of this site is hard to use with the technology you rely on, write to support@tealapexgroup.com with the page and what happened. The practice will correct the page, and in the meantime will help you directly by email or by phone with whatever the page was meant to do.
