One letter a month carries the three readings this practice publishes and nothing else.
It goes out on the first Tuesday of the month with the month over month change and one paragraph on what moved the numbers. It never carries a listing you did not ask about, and it never carries a promotion.
The commitments that govern this list are enforced in the code rather than promised in the terms.
- Confirmation is required before anything is sent.
A signup writes a row whose confirmation timestamp is empty, and no letter is ever sent to a row in that state. A mistyped address, or an address entered by somebody else, receives one confirmation message and then silence.
- Removal takes one click and it is immediate.
Every letter carries a removal link, and the header that lets Gmail and Outlook show their own unsubscribe button is set, so the button in your mail client performs a real removal rather than registering a complaint.
- The list is never sold, rented, or shared.
It is held in a database table that no public key can read, and it is used for one purpose. The postal address the law requires appears at the bottom of every issue.
- The letter carries readings, not advertising.
Three market readings, the change since the previous month, and one paragraph of interpretation. No listings you did not ask about, and no promotions of any kind.
